Documentary Video Production Workshop

AMI 312S

Students research, write, direct, shoot, and edit independent documentary video projects and improve storytelling, videography, and lighting skills. Build upon prior knowledge of editing software and other technical aspects. Learn professionalization techniques for studio, freelance, or independent work, including: budgeting, cover letters, professional project proposals, client "pitch" skills. Class discussion and critique to build editing skills and storytelling sensibilities. Prerequisites: Documentary Studies 105S or Documentary Studies 271S or instructor consent. Instructor: Orenstein
