Based on Wajdi Mouawad's stage play, Incendies, and adapted by the award-winning director Denis Villeneuve and Valerie Beaugrand-Champagne, this film tells the story of twins Jeanne and Simon Marwan, who journey to the Middle East to fulfill their mother's last wishes. The journey leads them to the discovery of their mother's past during the 1970s Lebanese Civil War, a father thought to be dead, and an unknown brother. It is an emotional journey that tests their strength, courage, and understanding.
