Ruby Film Theater
This 100-seat, soundproof film theater features five types of built-in projectors paired with a modern digital Dolby surround-sound system.

Ruby Media Production Studios
Duke's Cinematic Arts program has two studios on the second floor, one for filming (Room 232) and the other for digital editing (Room 234). Cinematic Arts and Visual Studies students as well as those working on Independent Study projects in Cinematic Arts can also check out filmmaking production equipment from the Cinematic Arts Equipment Cage on the first floor (Ruby 126B).

- Legacy Lab: Smith Warehouse Bay 12, Room A121. The edit suite in the Legacy Lab contains 16mm bench stations, a 16mm flatbed editor, and a multi-format digital film scanner.
- Smith Dark Room: Smith Warehouse Bay 12, Room Room A102. Analog processing facility is inside the Printingmaking Studio.
- Smith Sound Suite: Smith Warehouse Bay 12, Room A 2--. Single person editing room with digital moving image editing and surround sound mixing capabilities.
- Smith Editing Studios: Smith Warehouse Bay 12, Room A 2--. Single person editing room with digital moving image editing capabilities.
- Smith Editing Studios: Smith Warehouse Bay 12, Room A 2--. Single person editing room with digital moving image editing capabilities and an analog flatbed.
- The Visual Media Lab: Smith Warehouse Bay 9, A280 (Workroom), Bay 10, A265 (Scan Lab), Bay 11, and Bay 12, A 112 (Slide Archive). The facilities maintain a continuously expanding collection of digital images and a 35mm slide archive.
- Bostock Library: Contains 87 study carrels and 96 computer stations.
- Lilly Library: In the heart of East Campus, Lilly Library is the primary academic support space for Duke’s first-year students.
